Welcome Book Clubs! 

Does your book club need a place to meet?  Roundabout Books is happy to host your book club in our space and we look forward to seeing what you've been reading.  To reserve your time, just call the store at 541-306-6564 and let us know the date and time you want to reserve.  

Are you looking for a book club to join?   Roundabout Books has launched our book clubs and you are welcome to join the discussion!  Just find a group that interests you below, read the book, and come to the discussion! 

DAYTIME NONFICTION

This book club will meet the second Friday of every month at 1pm.

On February 10th we will discuss H is for Hawk by Helen MacDonald.
On March 10th we will discuss Winterdance: The Fine Madness of Running the Iditarod by Gary Paulsen.
On April 14th we will discuss Thank You for Being Late by Thomas L. Friendman.
On May 12th we will discuss Temperance Creek by Pamela Royles.
On June 9th we will discuss The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman.
On July 14th we will discuss I'll Push You: A Journey of 500 Miles, Two Best Friends, and One Wheelchair by Patrick Gray and Skeesuck.

EVENING FICTION

This book club will meet the first Wednesday of every month at 6pm. We will choose books in the literary fiction genre that include both new releases and titles already in paperback.

On February 1st we will discuss The Sellout by Paul Beatty
On March 1st we will discuss The Paris Architect by Charles Belfoure.
On April 5th we will discuss Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi.
On May 3rd we will discuss A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman.

EVENING CLASSICS

This book club will meet on the second Wednesday of every other month at 6pm. We will choose classic titles to read through group consensus. 

On March 8th we will discuss Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.
On May 10th we will discuss Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov.

EVENING MYSTERY

This book club will meet the third Wednesday of every month at 6pm.  We will choose a variety of mystery genre titles to read through group consensus. 

On March 15th we will discuss The Trespasser by Tana French.
On April 19th we will discuss Tightrope by Simon Mawer.
On May 17th we will discuss The Chemist by Stephanie Meyer.

EVENING NONFICTION

This book club will meet monthly on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 6pm. We will choose nonfiction books by group consensus. 

On April 26th we will discuss two books: Hillbilly Elegy by JD Vance and Open by Andre Agassi.
On May 24th we will discuss two books: Hillbilly Elegy by JD Vance and Open by Andre Agassi.
