Our Annual End of Summer sale is back - on the patio! We will maintain all social distancing and mask requirements by placing bookcases on our front patio to allow more room for browsing. This sale is always fun and a third of the store is 30% off! We'll also have bundles of Advanced Reader Copy Books. They'll be available by donation, and the money collected will go to several local nonprofits, Think Wild and Deschutes Land Trust, so don't forget to bring a little cash.
We're also celebrating Independent Bookstore Day on Saturday, August 29th. Independent bookstores are not just stores, we’re community centers and local anchors run by passionate readers. We are entire universes of ideas that contain the possibility of real serendipity. Independent bookstores are lively performance spaces and quiet places where aimless perusal is a day well spent. In a world of tweets and algorithms and pageless digital downloads, bookstores are not a dying anachronism. This special day is normally celebrated in April, but was pushed back to August. We'll have some exclusive IBD goodies for sale too! Support your local independent bookstore and stop by our End of Summer Patio Sale.
We love ending the summer this way and hope to see you here!
