Special Storytime: Look What Kate Can Do: One Hand Works as Well as Two by Paul & Katie Leatherwood

Please join us for a Special Storytime, Look What Kate Can Do: One Hand Works as Well as Two will be read by Paul & Katie Leatherwood.

Kate was born with symbrachydactyly, a big word for upper limb differences. How does a little girl feel about growing up with one hand? How does she answer people's questions? Here's Kate's story in her own words.

Katie and Paul Leatherwood, also known as Nana and Paups, are Kate Koogler's grandparents. Now retired, Katie was an English teacher, while Paul taught art, illustration, graphics, and photography in Bend, Oregon. Inspired by their granddaughter's learning experiences, they have combined their talents in this children's book.
