Born and raised Georgia peach, Morgan moved to Oregon, ready to explore everything the PNW has to offer, January of 2020... Even though timing was not her strong suite then, she will always make time to talk about books! Lover of all things spooky, literary and psychological, Morgan can be your guide to finding the hidden gems among fiction and non-fiction alike. On her off days, you can find her hiking with her sweet pup Chewbacca, curled up on her couch listening to a true crime podcast, rootin' for her college football team The Georgia Bulldawgs and attending concerts around the Bend area.
Prior to working at Roundabout Books, Morgan worked in the music industry and as a a hair dresser during the slow season. She graduated from the University of Georgia on Friday the 13th in May of 2016 with a bachelor's in English literature and music business. Right now, she is trying to read a selection of books from every genre the store offers. Curiosity has always been her key to life so feel free to ask about what she is reading now!
Wow. This book took me by surprise! A take on Kafka's Metamorphosis, this book is truly a modern classic. A love story, riot and revolution, Hamid shows the reader so much in 180 pages.
For the true crime aficionado, this book actually tells the story about the rise and fall of Elliot Ness, the man who helped take down Al Capone. I couldn't stop once I picked this book up. Riveting writer and wild true tale.
A debut novel so beautifully written. A historical fiction novel set in the PNW from the perspective of a lumber jack, his wife and their child. Absolutely reccommend as your next Fall/Winter read.
My favorite read of the summer! A quick and engaging novel about a young woman, without any true direction in life, finds out she is pregnant. One day she receives a call to make a pizza with pickles on it and thus her life is forever changed.
Truly devastating, this book is one of those that lingers. The top on my re-read list. The plot of this book is so beautiful, I cannot recommend this book enough

An oldie but goodie! I have read this book three times. Chuck Palahniuk is for those looking for a psychological and philosophical moment. Absolutely love this book.
The best for last! This book is my favorite book of all time and absolutely changed my life. Read this if you have not yet!
