RAB MIDDLES

 

RAB Middles book club will meet the 3rd Monday of each month at 6 pm.

RAB announces a Just For Us Middle Grade reading group (~8 yrs to 12 yrs), aka The RAB Middles! RAB employee and former Youth Services Librarian, Kathleen, will lead the reading group and add a dimension of community by reading and discussing great new reading choices for middle grade readers. Possibilities are endless! Every member helps to curate our reading list. Currently we are meeting  at the shop. You need not attend every meeting to participate.  Please know that spoilers and endings to our reads are discussed! 

2024
On January 15th, we will discuss When Stars Are Scattered by Victoria Jamieson and Omar Mohamed 
On February 19th, we will discuss Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin
On March 18th, we will discuss DUEL by Jessixa Bagley
On April 15th, we will discuss Once There Was by Kiyash Monsef (PB release 5/7/24 so another title for April will be forthcoming).
On May 20th, we will discuss Swindle by Gordon Korman
On June 17th, it is Reader's Gambit!!!! Choose your book to share & we will nosh & listen.

 

2023

On February 20th  we will discuss Astrid the Unstoppable by Maria Parr.
On March 20th we will discuss Swim Team Johnnie Christmas.
On April 17th our book is Ranger in Time #1: Rescue on The Oregon Trail by Kate Messner.
On May 15th our book is The City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau.  
On June 19th we will discuss The Deadlands by Skye Welki-Wegner. 
On July 17th we will discuss The Jumbies by Tracie Baptiste.
On August 21st we will discuss The First Rule of Punk by Celia Perez.
On September 18th we will discuss Because of Mr. Terupt by Rob Buyea.
